ARTIST BIO

Robin Childers grew up in Upstate South Carolina, a former textile center. Childers completed a Bachelor of Fine Arts in fiber arts from Savannah College of Art and Design. Following graduation, she worked as a textile designer in apparel and automotive fabrics. This past design work in manufacturing has influenced her recent paintings, screen-prints, and installations. Childers studied at Savannah College of Art and Design, Glasgow School of Art in Scotland, and Clemson University. Her work is part of the SCAD and Target collections.
